Whether you are a newbie or seasoned agent, there is no defense for not knowing and understanding The Offer to Purchase. This course will explore the duties of buyers working with or for buyers when preparing an offer to purchase. It will also touch upon the responsibilities of the seller's agent. Topics include: The agent's duty of due diligence, essential aspects of a contract, the Statute of Frauds, Opinion 26, Attorney Review, the Broker's commission, declaration of business relationship, and common contingencies. Students are encouraged to bring a copy of the NJAR Offer to Purchase to the class.
