    Course Description

    Changes in the market are placing licensees more often in multiple offer situations. A good understanding of the legal requirements and ethical issues will reduce risks and better protect the clients.

    Item Description

    Let’s review options/ strategies buyers have to increase their chance of seeing their offer accepted, sellers have to make the right choice, and overall keep good working relationships with everyone!

    After reviewing the legal and ethical requirements (such as confidentiality issues, disclosures, escalation clauses), the course will discuss the various scenarios buyers and sellers may encounter, discuss the pros and cons of various strategies, so that clients can ultimately make an informed decision on their course of action. Risk management suggestions for the licensees facing multiple offers will conclude the course. Discussion on the “Love Letters” as well as the impact and risks of removing inspections and/or financing contingencies.

  • Social Media, Laws and Ethics- Do's and Don't's

    At the conclusion of this course, the licensee will: 1) Understand the extent of social media and its use in real estate 2) Have reviewed various regulations regarding the use of social media 3) Have practiced by reviewing various uses of social media as example 4) Have the tools to develop a social media policy for their business

    Item Description

    A real estate licensee today spends much of their time online and on various social media sites.
    Through the use of various examples/ situations, the material will review legal and ethical obligations as well as good business practice. This will not be limited to licensing obligations, but will extend to discussions about privacy and copyrights.
    The class has been updated to include a discussion on the use of AI in the various aspect of our business, the areas impacted and the regulatory questions associated with the use of various AI tools.
