This two-day course serves as the core of the Accredited Buyer's Representative (ABR) designation program, which is the benchmark of excellence in buyer representation. The goal of this course is to set the foundation of training, skills, and resources to help real estate professionals succeed in today's marketplace as buyer's representatives. This course is a fundamental resource for understanding the duties that REALTORS owe to clients, customers, the public, and fellow REALTORS as outlined in NAR's Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice.

DESCRIPTION: The Accredited Buyer’s Representative ( ABR®) designation helps prepare real estate professionals to better represent buyer clients in residential real estate transactions and provide quality of service that sellers customarily enjoy. This course covers the proper techniques and practices of buyer representation that will enhance your bottom line, review agency relationships, negotiation strategies, explain the advantages of buyer representation from the buyer's, sellers, listing and selling broker's perspectives and identify sources of buyer clients. From the initial selection of properties, all the way through contract negotiations and settlement, you can be an agent specifically committed to represent the buyer's bet interest when buying a home.
*Designation requires REBAC membership. REBAC membership dues are $110/year. Your first year's membership in REBAC is included free with successful completion of the Accredited Buyer’s Representative (ABR®) Designation Course.
