This two-day course serves as the core of the Accredited Buyer's Representative (ABR) designation program, which is the benchmark of excellence in buyer representation. The goal of this course is to set the foundation of training, skills, and resources to help real estate professionals succeed in today's marketplace as buyer's representatives. This course is a fundamental resource for understanding the duties that REALTORS owe to clients, customers, the public, and fellow REALTORS as outlined in NAR's Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice.

This ZOOM course is completely GREEN meaning attendees will receive their books via Dropbox, there will be no physical books.  Attendees will receive a link to the materials and the Zoom access after successful registration.  All links and attachments can be found after enrolling.

How to Earn the ABR Designation

1. Complete the two-day core designation course.
2. Complete one of the ABR® elective courses
3. Confirm that you have completed five (5) transactions solely as a buyer's representative (no dual agency).
4. Submit your ABR® designation application.  Pay the one time $185 application fee via the payment portal.
5. To maintain your ABR® designation, you must keep an active membership with both the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR) and the Center for REALTOR® Development (CRD).  The 12 months of ABR membership is free, second year is $110, but prorated based on the month that you have completed the ABR course and $110 each year thereafter.

Please note:  you may not promote yourself as an ABR® until you are notified via email that you have been awarded the designation.
