This course is designed to familiarize you with green principles and choices in home design and construction; raise your awareness of innovative materials, systems, and construction methods; explain energy-efficient systems including onsite power generation; and enable you to distinguish levels and cost-benefits of retrofitting, remodeling, or renovating existing homes. Upon completion, participants will be able to:

The second course in the designation program sequence, focuses on applying the knowledge of resource-efficient, smart, and certified homes gained in the preceding course and adapting core real estate skills to build business success in the niche market for resource-efficient homes.
