All new members are required to attend an orientation program designed to build awareness of the requirements of the REALTOR® Code of Ethics, professional standards, Pathways to Professionalism, risk management, fair housing in addition to member resources and benefits.  This program is mandatory for new members.  For members transferring from another Board who have completed orientation and maintained a practice, orientation is optional.  For members who have been a member of a local board/association in the past but left the industry for a year or more, orientation is mandatory. REALTOR® Membership is conditional upon the completion of an ethics component and you will receive two CEs (Continuing Education credits) for the day.   If you unable to attend orientation for a valid reason, you should request an excused absence from the Executive Officer.
