This course will take an in depth look at alternative forms of real property ownership and
possession; In particular the examination of the Condominium Act, its predecessors and the
concept of legislatively created real estate. The hybrid Co-Operative form of ownership will be
discussed, both pre and post 1988 Co-Operative Recording Act. The concept of Leasehold
ownership in communities like Ocean Grove will be closely examined along with the insurance
challenges that they present.
